Talar Arslanian

Armenian American soprano Talar Arslanian, is currently an undergraduate senior studying voice and gaining her B.M. in Vocal Performance at Azusa Pacific University. Her major operatic roles include Lauretta from Gianni Schicchi and the Sorceress from Dido and Aeneas. Talar has partaken in numerous Opera scenes including the countess from Le Nozze di Figaro, 1st soprano (three ladies) in Die Zauberflöte, Giulietta from The Tales of Hoffman, and Violetta from La Triviata. In addition, Talar has sung for multiple Armenian commemoration events to honor her culture and give back to the community. Furthermore, she has been the musical director of both Showlights Theater, and Judson high school since 2016. Talar has a theater and choral background and began classical singing once she began studying Azusa Pacific University. Talar has been singing classically for the past four years. She instantly fell in love with the world of classical voice and plans on pursuing it as her career.
